We installed key infrastructure for Uruguay's largest data center

We laid all of the structured cabling inside Antel's data center in Pando (fiber optic and data cabling), which backs up and safeguards companies' digital assets. We worked to the Uptime Institute's TIER III guidelines.
The context
Antel's data center in Pando is the largest in Uruguay and safeguards the digital assets of many companies. A facility this critical rests on its structured cabling: the physical layer over which fiber optics and data run determines the reliability of everything the data center hosts. In a data center, cabling is not a construction detail but a component that shapes availability, performance, and the ability to grow in an orderly way over time.
The solution
We laid all of the structured cabling inside the data center, both fiber optic and data. We worked to the Uptime Institute's TIER III guidelines, the standard that defines the availability and redundancy levels required of a high-criticality data center. Meeting TIER III means designing the cabling with redundant paths and an organization that allows maintenance without interrupting the operation, a key requirement for a facility that cannot stop.
The impact
The structured cabling was left ready to back up and safeguard the digital assets companies entrust to the country's largest data center. Meeting the TIER III guidelines is what sustains the availability a facility of this kind must guarantee. A well-designed physical base also makes the data center's future growth easier, because it allows adding equipment and capacity without compromising the order or reliability of the infrastructure.
